In a recent update, the government has declared 30 bottled water brands unsafe for human consumption due to microbiological and chemical contaminants, as per findings from the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR).
The government mandates quarterly assessments of bottled and mineral water brands to protect public health, and PCRWR took 205 samples from 21 cities during the third quarter of 2024 (July to September).
These samples were tested to verify compliance with Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) standards. According to the PCRWR report, 12 brands, including Natural Pure Life, Bro H2O, Purifa Spring Water, and Aqua Health, were found with sodium levels exceeding safe limits, posing health risks.
Furthermore, other brands like Black Seed Water and Natural showed turbidity levels above acceptable standards, and Black Seed Water also displayed a pH imbalance. Bacterial contamination was identified in additional brands such as D Nova Pure Drinking Water, Afra, and Aqua Slim, marking them unsafe for consumption.
The PCRWR report has called for consumers to be cautious and highlights the need for consistent quality control, as water safety remains a priority in public health initiatives. Authorities have encouraged consumers to choose certified safe brands and to stay informed through regular updates on water quality in Pakistan.

Dasani was indeed in the list but not declared unsafe. And if you still think you are right then do the tests from your pocket to expose israeli products with your findings. I hope you can to this minimum for Pakistan. You should study the report before spreading lie.
Brother you should provide complete list of 30 brands before bashing a person on his opinion if you are so concerned about the agends
All these bottled waters are either ‘aqua nalka’ or ‘aqua chappar’. If these waters are tested in a reputed laboratory, all will be rejected.
nestle water TDS level is 265 to 270 nestle not a single water plant in twin city.
If brands like pure life by Nestle, Aquafina are also not safe for drinking then what is left to drink. Why is the Government not looking into safeguarding the lives of the citizens?
All harmful brands should be advertised on tv channels and newspaper and facebook as most of the people use them. it should be advertised by the government with all details without making any ambiguity.
