Another Pakistani Airline Launches Direct Weekly Flights to Saudi Arabia

Air Sial has introduced weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh, with plans to start flights from Lahore to the Saudi capital soon.

In a press release issued on Sunday, Air Sial shared, “The Pakistani airline has commenced two weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh.” The management further announced that flights from Lahore will follow shortly.

Additionally, Air Sial’s regional office in Riyadh was inaugurated on Thursday by Pakistan’s Welfare Attaché, Rana Muhammad Masoom, in a ceremony attended by community members and the airline’s regional and country management.

The event included a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the start of these weekly flights from Riyadh to Islamabad. It was also announced that flights to Lahore and other cities are in the pipeline.

Air Sial, a major private airline in Pakistan, was launched in 2020 by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry to enhance air travel options to and from Sialkot, Punjab’s key industrial hub. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

Thousands of Pakistanis travel to Saudi Arabia each year for work and to perform the Umrah pilgrimage in Makkah and Madinah. Many Pakistani airlines provide direct, affordable flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, and other Saudi cities, fostering religious tourism and strengthening ties between the two allied nations.
