In West Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump supporters gathered at a convention center, a wave of cheers erupted as Fox News announced Trump’s projected win. Crowds broke out into chants of “USA! USA!” as the news spread.
According to Edison Research, Trump has already secured crucial wins in swing states like North Carolina and Georgia, and he currently leads in several other key battlegrounds, further strengthening his path to the presidency.
Trump’s victory marks a historic moment as he becomes only the second president in U.S. history, after Grover Cleveland, to return to office after a gap in service.
Initially elected in 2016 over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Trump pledged to “Make America Great Again.” His tenure concluded in 2020 when he lost to President Joe Biden amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trump’s 2024 campaign, launched in November 2022, revived his promise to “Make America Great Once Again,” appealing to a base eager for his return.
