Oppo plans to release the Oppo Find N5, the heir to last year’s Find N3, in the first half of 2025. Initial rumors suggested a launch in Q1 2025 though a Chinese tipster, Wisdom Pikachu, now claims that Oppo will release the foldable anytime before July.
The phone will feature a round camera module with three impressive 50MP sensors for top-notch photography. Powering it will be the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring lightning-fast performance. With its enhanced metal texture and support for wireless magnetic charging, the Find N5 aims to be a top-tier flagship device.
Another interesting aspect of the Find N5 is its workability with Apple’s ecosystem. This feature could allow for easier integration with Apple products, which might attract users looking for cross-platform compatibility.
Like its predecessor, the Find N5 is expected to rebrand as the OnePlus Open 2 in the global market.
Oppo is also set to expand its flagship lineup with the Find X8 Ultra next year. Last month, the brand released the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro in China, with a global launch set for next week. These devices introduce advanced camera systems and processing power to compete with other high-end smartphones.
As always, the international prices of these phones are expected to be higher than their Chinese counterparts, both for the candy bar-type devices as well as the foldable ones. For reference, the Find X8 and X8 Pro cost $590 and $745 in China respectively.
