Honda has unveiled the 2026 Passport, scheduled to arrive in showrooms early next year.
This new generation offers improved performance and modern amenities, making it a versatile choice for urban and off-road adventures.
The exterior is both functional and stylish. It features a boxier design with a shorter front overhang and hidden exhaust tips to improve approach and departure angles for offroading.
The SUV sits on 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires for the TrailSport models. The increased size provides more interior space, and the cargo area offers up to 2378 liters when the rear seats are folded.
Inside, the Passport offers a spacious and modern cabin. It includes a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google Built-In, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The interior materials have been upgraded for a more premium feel, and the seats are designed for comfort and easy maintenance.
The TrailSport models feature additional off-road-friendly features like easy-to-clean trim pieces and a panoramic sunroof.
The 2026 Passport is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower. It features a new 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system, ensuring better traction and handling.
The SUV is built on Honda’s Global Light Truck Platform, which enhances its rigidity and stability. It also boasts a towing capacity of 2,268 kg, making it suitable for various hauling needs.
The 2026 Honda Passport will be available in three trims: RTL, TrailSport, and TrailSport Elite. Pricing is expected to start in the mid-$40,000 range, offering a competitive option in the midsize SUV segment. With its blend of rugged capability and modern technology, the Passport is poised to attract a wide range of buyers.
