Stone Attack on Metro Bus Near Bari Imam Causes Panic

On Friday, a metro bus traveling from Bari Imam to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was attacked near the shrine. Unknown individuals threw stones at the CDA bus (EV-075), smashing three windows. The incident caused panic among passengers.

The attack occurred when the bus reached the Muslim Colony Stop. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, according to CDA officials.

This is not the first time metro buses have been targeted in the area.

CDA officials are in the process of registering an FIR for the incident. They suspect local youth may be involved but assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted.
