Oppo Launches Battery Replacement Plan for Smartphones in China

Oppo has rolled out a battery replacement program to provide customers with affordable options to extend the lifespan of their devices. The initiative, announced by Oppo Service, includes a replacement labor fee of just 50 yuan (~$7), complemented by a 180-day official warranty to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Features of The Replacement Plan

The program focuses on replacing batteries with original Oppo components, guaranteeing high-quality standards and device compatibility. As part of the offering, the company is also introducing battery maintenance coupons that provide additional savings for customers.

Customers who spend 5 yuan or more on accessories or other Oppo products can use these coupons for battery replacements on the A/K series models, excluding a few discounted devices. For customers with Find and Reno series or OnePlus devices, a 15 yuan purchase is required to unlock coupon eligibility. This approach offers flexibility and affordability for users across Oppo’s device range.

Special Promotions and Fixed-Price Repairs

To make the offer even more appealing, they have launched a special promotion for out-of-warranty battery replacements. Between December 5 and December 31, 2024, customers who visit Oppo service centers for battery repairs will receive a free original data cable in white or red, subject to availability.

Additionally, Oppo is hosting a fixed-price battery repair event. For example, customers can replace batteries for popular models like the Oppo Find X3, Reno8 Pro, and OnePlus 9 at just 109 yuan ($5).
