In recent weeks, Oppo has rolled out its flagship Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones, powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, to the global market. However, the brand is not stopping there.
Reports have emerged suggesting that Oppo is working on two more models within the Find X8 series the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Next.The Find X8 Next will cater to different segments with a more compact form factor, while the Find X8 Ultra will offer the most advanced features in the lineup.
Launch Timeline and Expected Features
The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will power the Find X8 Ultra, positioning it as one of the most powerful models in the X8 series.
Recently, China’s radio certification platform spotted the Find X8 Ultra, confirming that the device is moving closer to its official debut. The listing, associated with the PKH120 model number, reveals that the phone will feature satellite connectivity. This certification paves the way for the device’s eventual launch in China, with expectations for additional certifications from platforms such as 3C and TENAA in the coming weeks.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra Known Specifications
The Find X8 Ultra will sport a quad-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP LYT-900 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Sony IMX882 ultra-wide lens, and two 50MP periscope telephoto lenses—one with a 75mm focal length and the other with a 150mm focal length, both offering OIS. Additionally, the phone will feature a 6.82-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Find X8 Ultra is expected to pack a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging for power. The device will also include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
