On Thursday, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced that the second annual matriculation examination will commence on January 1. The exams will be conducted in two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Admit cards for science and general group students, both regular and private, will be issued soon. The detailed schedule for the exams is as follows:
- January 1 (First Shift): Islamic Studies/Ethics for Science and General Group
- January 2 (First Shift): Biology (Paper I), Computer Studies (Paper I), General Science (Paper I)
(Second Shift): Commercial Geography, Geography (Optional), Clothing and Paper Weaving (Paper I) - January 3 (First Shift): Urdu (Normal), Sindhi (Normal), English Literature, Geography of Pakistan (Paper I)
- January 4 (First Shift): Mathematics (Paper II) for Science Group
(Second Shift): Commercial Geography, Geography (Optional), Clothing and Paper Weaving (Paper II) - January 6 (First Shift): Chemistry (Paper I), Islamic Studies (Paper I), History of Islam (Paper I), Economics (Paper I), Management of Correctional Institutions (Paper I) for girls
