With just three days left before the vivo Y300 5G launch in China, WHYLAB has revealed its specifications and shared images, giving a clear picture of the upcoming device. The Y300 5G boasts a 6.77-inch OLED display that delivers a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, the screen achieves a brightness of 1,300 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright conditions. Vivo has equipped the display with its Diamond Shield glass for added durability. Additionally, the screen integrates an optical fingerprint scanner, while the punch-hole cutout houses an 8MP front-facing camera.
The back of the Vivo Y300 5G features a dual-camera system. It includes a 50MP Samsung S5KJNS main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Vivo has integrated a speaker within the camera module co-developed with AAC Technologies. This innovation is part of a three-way speaker system, complemented by additional speakers on the top and bottom of the phone. Together, the system delivers a peak audio output of 4.5W.
Under the hood, the Y300 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. It offers configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, paired with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512 GB. A 6,500mAh battery powers the device, supporting 44W fast charging. On the software front, the phone operates on OriginOS 5, providing a modern interface.
