Vivo Plans Smaller-Screen Mid-Range Smartphone for 2025

Vivo is preparing to launch a smaller-screen upper mid-range smartphone in 2025, following the success of its X200 Pro mini. A post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, which has since been deleted, claimed that Vivo aims to continue producing compact yet powerful devices.

Reports suggest that vivo will equip the upcoming smartphone with a Dimensity 9 series chipset, possibly the 9300, aligning with its upper mid-range category. This choice indicates that the device will deliver solid performance for its class.

The upcoming phone will impress with a remarkable 50 MP main camera, accompanied by a sophisticated telephoto lens that enhances its imaging capabilities and offers a wide range of photography options. Vivo is likely to incorporate the 6.31-inch display previously seen on the X200 Pro mini, delivering a resolution of 1216×2640 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits that promises visibility even in bright sunlight.

We expect Vivo to introduce a premium silicon battery with a capacity that surpasses the 5,700 mAh capacity found in the X200 Pro mini in terms of power. This advancement could lead to significantly longer battery life, appealing particularly to users who seek sustained performance and longevity without compromising on a compact design.

Although details remain scarce, vivo appears committed to delivering a mid-range smartphone that combines a small form factor with strong performance and advanced features. As the launch date nears, additional details will likely emerge, and we will provide updates as they become available.
