Realme 14 Pro Series Teased With Cold-Sensitive Color Changing Tech

Realme has officially started teasing the Realme 14 Pro series, including the 14 Pro and 14 Pro+, ahead of its January 2025 launch in markets like India. The company revealed key design elements and innovations that set the series apart at a private event.

Innovative Design

The 14 Pro series introduces the world’s first cold-sensitive color-changing technology, developed with Valeur Designers, a Nordic industrial design studio. The back panel uses advanced thermochromic pigments to change color based on temperature. Below 16°C, the panel shifts from pearl white to vibrant blue, reverting as temperatures rise.

The Realme 14 Pro+ features a quad-curved AMOLED screen with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio and ultra-slim 1.6mm bezels, all packed into a sleek 8 mm-thick body. Its back panel, crafted through a 30-step fusion fiber process, gives each Pearl White variant a unique texture.

A triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a Sony LYT-600 or IMX82 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
