Shark Tank India Judges Makes Fun of Shark Tank Pakistan

Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta, judges on Shark Tank India, recently shared their impressions of the Pakistani version of the show during a discussion with influencer Sharan Hegde.

While Gupta admitted to only watching short clips of Shark Tank Pakistan, he found some moments intriguing yet puzzling. Both judges took particular note of a viral incident where a contestant requested PKR 300 crore for 3% equity, calling it an unrealistic demand.

Mittal and Gupta viewed the hefty valuation as an example of the show’s unconventional approach. While they laughed about the absurdity of such requests, Mittal also used the opportunity to highlight a larger issue.

He emphasized that economic growth in neighboring countries, like Pakistan, is vital for regional stability and progress. Without productivity, he argued, economic stagnation could create problems that impact not only Pakistan but also India.

Mittal stressed the importance of initiatives like Shark Tank Pakistan in fostering innovation and productivity within the country. He suggested that such platforms could inspire a positive shift in the nation’s economic direction, benefitting the region as a whole.

Despite their critiques, both judges appeared hopeful that the show could serve as a catalyst for change in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial landscape.
