In a recent incident, fraudsters targeted and robbed four individuals, including a pizza delivery boy, in the Mananwala area near Mansoorabad police station in Faisalabad. The culprits stole cash, mobile phones, and food items, leaving the victims distressed.
One of the victims, Saqib Javed Gulzar, a pizza delivery rider from Railway Colony, was lured into the trap when he delivered an order of two pizzas, a platter, pasta, and a cold drink bottle. The fraudsters asked him to wait at a roundabout while they pretended to fetch money. However, they never returned, escaping with the food and leaving the delivery boy stranded.
The Mansoorabad police have registered cases against the accused and launched a search operation to apprehend the fraudsters. These incidents highlight the growing risks faced by delivery personnel and the need for better safety measures to protect them from such scams.
