The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended a notorious human smuggler, who had been on the Red Book’s most wanted list for 17 years, at Islamabad Airport, according to a report by 24News.
The suspect, identified as Amjad Ali from Gujjar Khan, is accused of engaging in serious offenses, including human smuggling and visa fraud.
A case was initially filed against him by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Rawalpindi back in 2007.
Amjad Ali’s name appeared on the Red Book’s list of most-wanted human traffickers, and he had reportedly fled the country after committing visa fraud. His inclusion in the stop list led to his capture at the airport.
Following his arrest, Amjad Ali was transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Rawalpindi for further legal proceedings.
