Dastak – Doorstep Services app, also called Maryam Ke Dastak, has reached 40 districts in Punjab, as per the directive of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
While the exact list of new areas covered remains unclear, the app should now provide 70 government services to more regions of Punjab. This decision was made during a progress review meeting presided over by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf on Monday.
During the meeting, Chairman Faisal Yousaf said:
Maryam Ke Dastak initiative aims to improve service delivery through trained representatives, providing a more efficient and citizen-friendly experience.
The Dastak – Doorstep Services app allows citizens to access vital government documents without leaving their homes. The program, powered by PITB’s ‘Dastak Doorstep Delivery App’ and its companion web portal, brings essential services directly to residents’ doorsteps.
The service menu includes domicile certificates, FIR copies, birth certificates, learner’s driving licenses, and e-stamping facilities. For those preferring traditional communication, the helpline 1202 remains available to process service requests.
Alongside different cities and districts, you can also select your specific Tehsil to find your exact region.
This doorstep delivery system particularly benefits women, elderly citizens, and working professionals who often struggle to visit government offices during working hours.
The app can be easily downloaded via the Google Play Store for Android users or the Apple App Store for iPhones.
