Defending champions WAPDA once again proved their dominance in women’s basketball, securing the National Women’s Basketball Championship 2024 title with a narrow 38-33 victory over a resilient Army team in the final held at the WAPDA Sports Complex on Monday.

The hosts set the pace early, showcasing tactical brilliance in the first half to establish a commanding 12-point lead. Thanks to their sharp offensive execution and disciplined defense, they entered halftime with a comfortable 27-15 advantage. Despite a spirited comeback attempt by the Army in the second half, WAPDA maintained its composure in sealing the win and defending its National Women’s Basketball Championship title.
