Poco X7 Pro
Earlier this week, Xiaomi’s Poco brand announced that the Poco X7 series will officially launch on January 9. While Poco initially didn’t specify the number of devices in the lineup, it has now confirmed that the series includes two models: the Poco X7 and the Poco X7 Pro.
Alongside this confirmation, the company has shared some key details about the X7 Pro, including its price range, processor, and battery specifications.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra SoC will power the Poco X7 Pro, ensuring strong performance for gaming and multitasking. It will feature a large 6,550 mAh battery in India, supporting 90W fast charging. For global markets, however, the X7 Pro will come with an even larger 6,000 mAh battery, paired with the same fast-charging technology.
The vanilla Poco X7 should come with a faux leather back panel with a triple-camera setup, while the Poco X7 Pro has a two-camera setup and a striking black-yellow dual-tone design reminiscent of the Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola Edition. Both phones will feature a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization OIS.
The Poco X7 Pro will come equipped with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and HyperOS 2.
Poco has revealed that the starting price for the X7 Pro will be under $350. However, it is still unclear whether this is the standard launch price or an effective price after offers and discounts. More pricing details are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.
