The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has announced plans to introduce a ranking system for all universities and colleges in the province.
The initiative was discussed during a key meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi. During the session, officials provided a detailed briefing on the proposed ranking criteria for educational institutions.
Minister Afridi emphasized that the primary goal of the ranking system is to enhance access to quality education. He expressed confidence that the rankings would lead to significant improvements in education standards across universities and colleges.
The minister directed the relevant authorities to collect performance data from the past three years for all universities and colleges. The rankings will be based on this information, allowing for an accurate assessment of the institutions’ achievements and areas for improvement.
