A foreign couple visiting the picturesque Margalla Hills Trail 5 fell victim to a mobile theft incident, sparking swift action by the Islamabad Police.
The incident, which occurred earlier today, involved unknown assailants stealing the foreign couple’s mobile phone while they were hiking on the popular trail. The couple, visibly shaken, reported the incident to authorities immediately.
Responding promptly, the Islamabad Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and dispatched a team led by the concerned Superintendent of Police (SP) to the scene. The SP, along with the investigation team, surveyed the area and began collecting evidence to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
In a statement, the SP assured the public that the criminals would be brought to justice. “We are determined to apprehend those responsible for this crime and ensure the safety of all citizens, including visitors to our city,” the SP said.
The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected as the authorities work to resolve the case.
