Pakistan has once again been placed in the group of countries with the weakest passports, according to the Henley Passport Index for the first half of 2025.
The index, which evaluates passports based on visa-free access, places Pakistan in 103rd position, tied with Yemen. Pakistani passport holders can only travel visa-free to 33 countries.
Countries with weaker passports than Pakistan include Iraq (104th), Syria (105th), and Afghanistan (106th). Meanwhile, Somalia, Nepal, Palestine, and Bangladesh rank just above Pakistan, with Somalia in 102nd place.
In the region, India holds the 85th spot, China ranks 60th, Iran 96th, and Saudi Arabia 58th.
At the top of the index, Singapore leads with visa-free access to 195 destinations, followed by Japan at 193. South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Finland share third place with access to 192 destinations.
