Japan Announces MEXT Teachers’ Training Scholarship

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has announced the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) Teachers Training Scholarship 2025 for Pakistani teachers with at least five years of teaching experience in primary or secondary schools, whether public or private.

According to the embassy, the age limit for the program is 35 years. The training course aims to provide Pakistani teachers an opportunity to conduct research on school education in Japan and learn innovative methodologies and teaching techniques from Japanese experts, contributing to their professional development.

Each year, MEXT offers scholarships to international teachers interested in researching school education at designated educational institutions in Japan as part of the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship program. This non-degree training course has a maximum duration of 18 months. Upon completing the required coursework, participants will receive a certificate from the university in Japan.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 14, 2025.
