The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has announced a comprehensive plan to enhance the beauty of Murree Road and Raja Bazaar, with implementation set to begin next month. According to PHA Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, the initiative aims to transform Murree Road from Saddar to Faizabad into an aesthetically appealing corridor.
To cover the costs of the project, private firms will be engaged, with small spaces on pillars allocated for advertisements. The beautification design will be provided by the PHA, and decorative lighting will be used to enhance the overall visual appeal. Additionally, trees will be planted, and flower beds will be established in Raja Bazaar to create a greener and more pleasant environment.
To minimize expenses, the PHA will use plants from its nurseries. The initiative also includes the restoration of historical buildings along Murree Road. The original architectural structures of these buildings will be preserved, while lighting will be added to enhance their appearance at night.
