NADRA Expands Doorstep Bike Service to Karachi

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched an innovative bike service in Karachi to make its services more accessible and convenient for residents.

The initiative aims to reduce long queues and waiting times, offering doorstep delivery of key services such as the issuance and renewal of national identity cards.

According to NADRA officials, the service will officially commence on Monday. Initially, three bikes will operate in Karachi, while Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas will each have one bike to cover the respective areas. To further expand the service, 10 additional bikes are expected to be added in the coming days.

The bike service representatives will carry portable processing equipment, enabling them to handle applications directly at the citizens’ doorsteps. For availing this service, a total fee of PKR 1,000 will be charged, which includes PKR 825 service charges and PKR 175 delivery fees.

Officials highlighted that this new service is designed to cater to those who wish to avoid the inconvenience of traveling to NADRA centers, especially individuals with busy schedules or limited mobility.
