Tri-Nation ODI Series Schedule Revised

The schedule for the tri-nation One-Day International (ODI) series in Karachi has been updated, with the final now slated for February 15 instead of February 14. Additionally, the last league-stage match between Pakistan and South Africa has been rescheduled to February 13, sources confirmed.

Revised Schedule Aligns with ICC Champions Trophy Preparations

The adjustments have been made as part of Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, set to commence on February 19. Initially, Pakistan and South Africa were scheduled to clash on February 12, with the final match of the series following on February 14. The new schedule aims to provide teams with additional time for fine-tuning their game plans ahead of the prestigious tournament.

Series to Kick Off on February 8 in Karachi

The tri-nation ODI series, featuring Pakistan, South Africa, and New  Zealand, will begin on February 8. Originally planned to be held in Multan, the series venue was later shifted to Karachi, citing logistical considerations.

PCB Considers Further Changes

While the updated match dates have been confirmed, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly evaluating additional adjustments to the schedule. A PCB spokesperson indicated that changes to Karachi’s match timings or other logistical details are under review, though no final decisions have been announced.
