The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) has announced the highly anticipated return of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) to Pakistan, signifying a pivotal moment for the country’s golfing ambitions.
The prestigious Asian Development Tour championship will kick off its 2025 season at the renowned Rumanza Golf and Country Club in Multan. Known for its world-class facilities and stunning design, Rumanza will once again take center stage, hosting an international golf event for the first time since the ADT’s previous edition in Lahore in October 2019.
This marks a significant step forward in the PGF’s mission to promote professional golf and establish Pakistan as a premier destination for international tournaments.
In a historic milestone, Pakistan will also host two additional ADT tournaments later in the year: the CNS Open Golf Championship and the Pakistan Open Golf Championship. Both events are slated for September and are expected to further solidify Pakistan’s growing reputation on the global golfing map.
The PGF President expressed immense pride in hosting multiple ADT events within a single calendar year, calling it a “remarkable achievement” for Pakistan’s golfing landscape. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the Asian Tour and key sponsors for their collaboration, which has played a crucial role in making this vision a reality.
These upcoming tournaments will not only elevate Pakistan’s status as a golfing hub but also provide a vital platform for both local and international players to showcase their skills.
As the countdown begins, the return of the Asian Development Tour promises to be a landmark moment, fostering growth, talent, and recognition for golf in Pakistan.
