Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Confirmed to Launch in Pakistan, But Not in Many Major Regions

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Slim, the most sleek addition to the S25 lineup, with a limited global release. However, Pakistani Samsung fans can rest assured as the company has confirmed it is coming to our country, but surprisingly not in many major regions including the US and several European countries.

S25 Slim Availability Details

The Galaxy S25 Slim will reportedly launch in the following locations:

Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, France, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and the Caucasus region.

Key Markets Missing

Surprisingly, the U.S., Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Spain, and South Korea—Samsung’s home market—are not on the list. This means Samsung will not only skip U.S. carrier partnerships for the S25 Slim but also exclude these countries entirely. The reason for this restricted release remains unclear.

Delayed Release

Rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 Slim measures just 6.4mm thick, making it the thinnest model in the Galaxy S25 lineup. However, it might not launch with the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, expected to debut at Samsung’s Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. Reports indicate the Slim could arrive later in the year, possibly in May.

Despite its limited availability, the Slim will launch in more markets than the regionally restricted Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Samsung appears to be adopting a focused approach with the Slim, likely prioritizing areas with higher demand for ultra-thin smartphones. More details are expected to emerge at Samsung’s Unpacked event.
