LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, accompanied by other officials, visited the site to review the progress. During the visit, LDA Director Housing IV, Yawar Bashir Virk, provided a briefing on the anti-encroachment drive. He highlighted that the enforcement squad has been conducting regular surveillance and operations to prevent encroachments. To safeguard the recovered land, fencing and walls have been erected, and signage marking the land as LDA property has been installed.

Tahir Farooq instructed officials to take all necessary measures to protect LDA-owned properties across housing schemes. He further announced that commercial areas would be developed on the 300-kanal reclaimed land in the Subzazar Housing Scheme.
