Afghanistan Unveils Stunning Jersey for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has officially unveiled the national team’s jersey for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The announcement, made via the board’s social media channels, was accompanied by a visually striking video showcasing Afghanistan’s breathtaking mountainous landscapes, which inspired the jersey’s design before its grand reveal.

The ACB proudly described the new jersey as a tribute to Afghanistan’s rich cultural heritage, blending the elegance of Naskh calligraphy with the intricate geometric patterns of the historic Jam Minaret, an 800-year-old architectural masterpiece in Ghor Province.

Standing at 65 meters with a 9-meter diameter, the Jam Minaret has symbolized Afghan resilience and heritage for centuries. As the AfghanAtalan step onto the field, they will wear a jersey that represents national unity, determination, and the enduring spirit of Afghanistan.

The board emphasized this sentiment, stating:

As AfghanAtalan take the field, they will wear the spirit of unity, the determination of our nation, and the elegance of Jam. They will create history and keep Afghanistan’s name shining on the global stage!

The ever-improving Afghanistan team will be making their Champions Trophy debut in the upcoming edition. Drawn into Group B, they will face cricketing powerhouses Australia, South Africa, and England.
