PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has given final approval for these events, ensuring that Pakistan’s cricketing infrastructure is showcased on a global stage.
In preparation for the Champions Trophy, Pakistan’s three major stadiums have undergone extensive renovations. According to Faizan Lakhani, the PCB has scheduled special opening ceremonies at each venue to celebrate these upgrades before the tournament officially begins.
The Champions Trophy 2025 marks the return of a major ICC tournament to Pakistan after nearly three decades. The competition will feature eight teams competing across three Pakistani venues (Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi), with an additional venue in Dubai.
