ICC Champions Trophy Returns to Pakistan as Trophy Tour Continues

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 has returned to Pakistan after a global tour, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated cricket tournaments of the year. The silverware, which traveled through all eight participating nations, will now embark on an extensive domestic tour across major Pakistani cities ahead of the tournament’s kickoff on February 19.

Cricket fans across Pakistan will once again get a closer look at the prestigious Champions Trophy, as it is set to be showcased in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and Sheikhupura.

The domestic tour will conclude on February 15. Additionally, the trophy will be exhibited at two major opening ceremonies—first at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on February 7 and then at Karachi’s National Stadium on February 11. These celebrations will mark the official countdown to the marquee tournament.

This marks the second time that the Champions Trophy has toured Pakistan, following a somewhat controversial initial tour in November 2024. During that tour, the trophy visited Karachi, Islamabad, Murree, Nithia Gali, Taxila, and Abbottabad. Notably, Lahore was excluded from the previous tour.
