OnePlus 13 Mini: New Leaks Reveal Dual-Camera Setup and Key Specs

The OnePlus 13 series currently includes two models—the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. However, a third model is expected to launch in March, with rumors suggesting it could be named the OnePlus 13 Mini or OnePlus 13T.

Camera Setup: A Change in Strategy?

Last month, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) claimed that the OnePlus 13 Mini would feature a triple-camera setup. However, the latest update contradicts that, now suggesting the device will come with two rear cameras instead.

According to DCS, the OnePlus 13 Mini will have a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. This differs from the earlier claim that the device would feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto (3x zoom), and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

While the tipster previously noted that the camera specifications were not final, these conflicting reports suggest that OnePlus may still be finalizing the design, or there could be multiple prototypes in testing. Until more sources confirm the final camera setup, it remains unclear whether OnePlus will go with a dual or triple-camera configuration.

Other Expected Features

Leaks suggest that OnePlus will equip the OnePlus 13 Mini with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, positioning it as a powerful compact flagship. The device will likely feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO display and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for seamless unlocking. The device will likely have a metal frame and a glass back, giving it a premium design similar to its larger counterparts.

Launch and Availability

OnePlus plans to launch the OnePlus 13 Mini (or OnePlus 13T) in March, possibly adding it to the OnePlus 13 lineup as a more compact and affordable flagship option. As the company finalizes the details, more leaks and official confirmations will likely emerge in the coming weeks.
