A total of 76 Pakistanis were deported in a single day from seven different countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Senegal. Among them, 17 individuals were arrested upon arrival in Karachi and transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC).
Deportations by Country and Offenses
According to immigration sources, the Saudi authorities deported individuals for the following reasons:
- 3 people were blacklisted,
- 4 were deported for begging,
- 6 for involvement in drug-related cases,
- 27 for violating work contracts,
- 4 for overstaying visas,
- 2 for absconding from work,
- 2 for fraud, and
- 2 for other crimes.
Additionally, deportations from other countries included:
- Sri Lanka: 1 person was denied immigration entry.
- UAE: 2 deported for drug-related offenses, 2 for passport loss, and 3 were released from prison and sent back.
- Azerbaijan: 1 deported.
- Iraq: 1 person deported for overstaying a visa.
- Malaysia: 2 deported for being prohibited immigrants.
- Senegal: 3 deported.
- Italy: 1 deported for being blacklisted.
- UAE: 2 deported for involvement in human trafficking.
Upon arrival, those involved in human trafficking were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC). Additionally, 12 more deportees from Saudi Arabia and the UAE were transferred to the AHTC for further investigation.
