Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the abolition of the job quota for children of government employees who pass away during active service.
The decision follows a Supreme Court ruling that justified the move, well-informed sources told ProPakistani.
The Establishment Division has formally informed ministries, divisions, and provincial authorities through an official letter and directed them to ensure compliance with the new policy. However, other benefits under the relief package for families of deceased employees will remain intact.
The change does not apply to the heirs of martyred officials or government employees who are victims of terrorism. Also, the appointment of the widow or husband of a deceased government employee will still be permitted under the existing framework.

This should never have been introduced in the first place. There is no reason for any quota system anywhere. Everything should be on merit. Well done Shahbaz though very late.
Merit ??? 😆
What merit ? Even ministers are not selected on merit
So Lumber 1 get to keep theirs . No one else . Got it
