12 Countries Deport Over 100 Pakistanis in Just 48 Hours

Over the past 48 hours, 131 Pakistani nationals have been deported from 12 different countries for various reasons, including illegal entry, drug-related offenses, and job abandonment.

According to immigration sources, Saudi Arabia expelled 74 Pakistanis, citing drug peddling and leaving jobs without notice. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) also deported several individuals on charges of illegal entry, theft, and drug offenses.

One Pakistani traveler was denied entry into the UAE and sent back immediately, while another was deported for allegedly attempting to die by suicide. Other deportations were reported from Oman, Cambodia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Mexico.

Meanwhile, two individuals accused of human smuggling were sent back from Mauritania and Senegal. Out of those deported, 16 were handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, while six were transferred to police in Larkana, Kalat, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, and Rawalpindi for further investigation.

In a related development, immigration authorities at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport offloaded 86 passengers during the same period. Among them, 30 Umrah pilgrims were stopped from boarding their flights to Saudi Arabia due to a lack of hotel bookings and insufficient funds.

Seven students traveling on study visas to Cyprus, the UK, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan were also offloaded. Several passengers with tourist visit visas for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries were denied travel. Additionally, individuals blacklisted from working in Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia were prevented from boarding their flights.
