DIG Licensing Iqbal Dara has shared that a large number of people are now using the online system to get their driving licenses. The digital process has made it easier for citizens to apply for learner permits, renew their licenses, and get international driving permits.
Around 100,000 people have received learner licenses through the online system, according to the DIG. In the last five months, 4,160 permanent driving licenses were renewed digitally, while 3,720 citizens obtained international driving permits online
He also mentioned that over 200,000 users have registered on the Driving License Sindh website. This shows that more people are interested in using the online system for convenience.
The shift to online services has reduced the need for long visits to offices, making the process faster and easier. Authorities are encouraging citizens to take advantage of this system for a hassle-free experience.
