KP Makes Important Decision Regarding Early Payment of Salaries and Pensions

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to release salaries and pensions earlier than scheduled due to upcoming weekend holidays.

According to details, government employees and retired personnel were initially set to receive their salaries and pensions on March 1.

However, since March 1 and 2 fall on Saturday and Sunday, the provincial government has moved the payment date to February 28.

A notification from the Finance Department stated that salaries and pensions for January were scheduled for disbursement on March 1. However, to prevent any inconvenience caused by the weekly holidays, the government has decided to process the payments on February 28 instead.

This decision ensures that employees and pensioners receive their payments without delays.
