This Xiaomi AC Can Save 40% Power Despite Extreme Cooling

Xiaomi has officially released the Mijia Super Energy-Saving Pro 2025 air conditioner in China, bringing advanced energy efficiency, smart home connectivity, and fast performance at a competitive price.

The Mijia Pro uses a dual-cylinder compressor that improves low-frequency stability by 30% and reduces noise by 5%. Paired with a dual-row condenser, it boosts heat exchange efficiency by 82%. With an APF of 5.65, it can save up to 361 kWh annually. The 108mm cross-flow fan delivers up to 760 cubic meters of airflow per hour, cooling in just 30 seconds and heating in 60. It also functions in extreme temperatures, from 65°C heat to -35°C cold.

Xiaomi includes the upgraded Lingyun Energy Saving 2.0 system, which improves efficiency by over 40%. The unit supports HyperOS Connect, allowing control via the Mijia app and XiaoAI voice assistant. It also features smart automation for temperature regulation and includes extras like anti-cold air tech, dehumidification, smart defrosting, child lock, and multi-angle airflow control.

The AC includes intelligent self-cleaning with a multi-phase process that eliminates 99% of bacteria. The outdoor unit cleans itself, too. Despite its power, the unit operates as quietly as 18dB(A), making it ideal for quiet spaces. The indoor unit measures 840mm × 311mm × 200mm and weighs 10kg. The outdoor unit is 860mm × 551mm × 331mm and weighs 27.5kg, offering a compact yet efficient setup.

Pricing and Availability

Xiaomi is offering the 1HP model at $332, the 1.5HP at $345, and the 2HP model at $414 in China. It is unclear if or when this AC will reach international markets, including Pakistan.
