The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced the registration process for admissions to Islamabad model schools and colleges for the 2025-26 academic session.
Admissions are available for students in selected institutions across both urban and rural areas of the capital. The FDE offers several special facilities, including a free Pink Bus Service, a free lunch program, and smart classrooms. Additionally, a new curriculum focused on coding, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship will be introduced, with expert support from NUST, NUML, and the Space Technology Institute.

- Registration Period: March 17 – March 28
- ECE-I (Ages 3-4) Interviews: March 17
- Admission Tests:
- ECE-II/Prep (Ages 4-5): April 8
- Class 1 (Ages 5-6): April 9
- Merit List Announcement: April 14
- Admission Form Submission: April 14 – April 16
- Classes Begin: April 17

- Classes 2-5 & 7-9: April 9

Eligibility Criteria
- ECE-I: Children aged 3-4 years
- ECE-II/Prep: Children aged 4-5 years
- Class 1: Children aged 5-6 years
- Admissions are open to Islamabad residents and children of federal government employees.
Students and parents are encouraged to complete registrations within the given timeframe to secure admission in the upcoming academic session.
