Mohammad Yousuf Takes Back His Decision on Not to Travel to New Zealand

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that batting consultant Mohammad Yousuf will now accompany the national team on their upcoming white-ball tour of New Zealand. This announcement comes after Yousuf had earlier withdrawn from the tour due to personal reasons, citing the health of his ailing daughter.

Speaking to the media, Yousuf shared the positive update about his daughter’s health, saying, “The doctors have said that my daughter is better now, so I am going with the team.” The former Pakistan captain’s decision to rejoin the squad has been welcomed by the PCB and the players, as his presence is considered vital for the team’s preparations.

The national men’s team is scheduled to depart for New Zealand on Wednesday morning, where they will play a series of five T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The matches are set to take place between March 16 and April 5 across various venues in New Zealand.
