The Poco F7 series is reportedly launching globally on March 27, according to a leaked image shared by tipster @TX_Tech_Xpert. Notably, this launch will also mark the debut of the brand’s first-ever Ultra variant, signaling Poco’s move into flagship territory.
To begin with, the Poco F7 Ultra is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro. It will likely come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with a 6.67-inch QHD+ OLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it’s said to pack a 6,000 mAh battery paired with ultra-fast 120W charging, making it one of Poco’s most powerful phones to date.
Moving on, the Poco F7 Pro could essentially mirror the Redmi K80, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It’s also expected to offer a 6.67-inch QHD+ OLED screen and a slightly larger 6,550 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. This would place the Pro model firmly in the high-end category.
Meanwhile, the standard Poco F7 might arrive as a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, it is tipped to include a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6,650 mAh battery, also supporting 90W charging. As a result, the base model still delivers solid specs at a more affordable price.
However, there’s some uncertainty regarding the Indian launch. A recent rumor suggests that the F7 Pro and Ultra may not be released in India, though this has not been officially confirmed. If true, Indian consumers may only see the standard Poco F7, at least initially.
As for Pakistan, since the Poco F6 series came with both the vanilla and Pro models, we can expect to see the F7 and F7 Pro as well, but there is uncertainty about the Ultra phone still.
