Free Entry Announced for 8 National T20 Cup Matches

In an exciting move for cricket fans, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that entry will be free for eight matches of the National T20 Cup 2025. These complimentary games are set to take place from March 14 to 20 at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, giving supporters a chance to catch high-voltage cricket without spending a penny.

The PCB’s move is seen as a way to boost the profile of the National T20 Cup, as the country’s top T20 talent will grace the field. Details on ticketing for the remaining fixtures—scheduled from March 21 to 27, including the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final—will be released by the PCB at a later date.

The tournament itself will run from March 14 to 27, featuring 18 teams representing 16 different regions. Matches are slated to be held across three major cities: Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.

For the group stages, the teams are divided as follows:

  • Group A: Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region, and Quetta Region.
  • Group B: Defending champions Karachi Region (Whites), Bahawalpur Region, Dera Murad Jamali Region, Islamabad Region, and Lahore Region (Blues).
  • Group C: Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region, and Rawalpindi Region.
  • Group D: AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region, and Sialkot Region.

After the league phase, the top two teams from each group will move on to the quarter-finals, which are set to take place on March 23 and 24 in Faisalabad.

Faisalabad will host the majority of the matches, with a total of 23 games—including all seven knockout fixtures—being played at its venues. The rest of the matches will be split between Multan Cricket Stadium (8 matches) and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, along with the LCCA Cricket Ground (8 matches).

The PCB’s free entry initiative for the National T20 Cup not only promises a vibrant stadium atmosphere but also underscores the PCB’s commitment to making cricket accessible to all.
