Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 14S in Czechia and Ukraine, marketing it as a fresh addition to its mid-range smartphone lineup. However, a closer look quickly reveals that this device is essentially a Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G with only a slight design update. In reality, it brings no meaningful upgrades, making the launch feel more like a rebranding move than a true product refresh.
Xiaomi slightly tweaked the design of the Redmi Note 14S by updating the rear camera layout. Despite this cosmetic change, the overall appearance remains nearly identical to the previous model.
The phone continues to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures vivid colors and smooth scrolling. As a result, users can expect the same visual experience as before. The Redmi Note 14S is available in three color options: Blue, Purple, and Black.
Under the hood, Xiaomi has once again used the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the same processor found in the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. Xiaomi has not specified the software version. It may still have HyperOS, but likely on an older Android OS since the Note 13 Pro 4G also launched in 2024 with dated Android 13.
The 200MP main rear camera makes a return, offering high-resolution shots just like the previous model. However, Xiaomi hasn’t added any new features or improvements to the camera system. The only difference lies in the shape of the camera bump, which has been subtly redesigned to make the device appear new. In terms of actual photo quality, users shouldn’t expect anything different.
Although Xiaomi hasn’t re-listed the battery specs, it likely still includes a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In terms of pricing, the device costs approximately $260.
