The Sindh Assembly approved the Sindh Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bill and the Sindh Criminal Prosecution Services Bill on Friday.
Presenting the Sindh Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bill, Lawmaker Mukesh Kumar Chawla highlighted that commercial vehicles were previously registered as private, leading to revenue loss.
He emphasized that commercial vehicles must be properly classified to prevent misuse and enhance government earnings.
The assembly also passed the Sindh Criminal Prosecution Services Bill, which aims to improve the efficiency of the prosecution system in the province. The passage of these bills marks another step in Sindh’s efforts to streamline regulations and improve governance.
