FIFA Unveils Club World Cup Football Designed in Pakistan

Pakistan’s proud tradition of crafting world-class footballs has reached new heights with the unveiling of the Official Match Ball for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2025—developed and manufactured in Sialkot by Forward Sports (Pvt) Ltd.

The ball will be in action from June 14 through the tournament’s finale, covering 63 matches over 30 days and featuring star-studded clubs such as Real Madrid, Inter Miami, Al Ahly FC, Seattle Sounders, SL Benfica, Bayern Munich, CR Flamengo, Juventus, Boca Juniors, and River Plate.

Since the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be hosted in the United States, the ball’s design pays tribute to American heritage with bold graphics in red, white, and blue, reflecting the nation’s flag.

A standout feature is the built-in motion sensor, housed in a suspension system at the center of the ball. This sensor continuously collects real-time data on the ball’s every movement. By integrating with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, it helps officials make quicker offside decisions and identify each touch on the ball—leading to fewer interruptions and more efficient officiating.

From major international tournaments to top-tier leagues, Sialkot has long been recognized for its craftsmanship and quality standards. The success story behind this new ball, which will be used in the FIFA Club World Cup, exemplifies Pakistan’s rich heritage in football manufacturing and signals the country’s continued rise in the global sports industry, ensuring the nation’s mark on the pitch in more ways than one.

As the countdown to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 begins, fans and players alike can take pride in knowing that Pakistan’s ingenuity and passion for the beautiful game will once again be showcased on the world’s biggest stage.
