Infinix has introduced the Note 50 Pro+ 5G+, which shares many design elements with its 4G sibling. The phone includes a digital assistant called Folax for on-screen content recognition, language translation, and other AI tasks.
However, the highlight of this device is its high-end features for cheap. The phone has a powerful chip, a solid camera setup, and more for under $400.
The device features a metal frame and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Three color choices are available: Titanium Gray, Enchanted Purple, and a Racing Edition with patterned graphics on the back. Infinix also mentioned two AI-focused accessories—an AI Ring and AI Buds—though details on these are limited.
The high-end 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset is found inside the Note 50 Pro+. It comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The phone runs XOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It features Infinix’s “Infinix Infinity” (AI∞) suite, providing an AI assistant (Folax), real-time call translation, AI-based photo editing tools, and the Xboost AI Game engine to optimize performance.
The back features a triple-camera setup, led by a 50 MP main sensor and a 3x telephoto camera with a Sony IMX896 sensor, which is rare to find in this range. Below these, a sensor detects blood oxygen levels and heart rate. AI functionalities assist with photography modes and image edits.
The Note 50 Pro+ has a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, reaching full charge in around 32 minutes. It also includes 50W MagCharge wireless charging with magnets for alignment, plus 10W wired and 7.5W wireless reverse charging. The phone, available only in a 12 GB/256 GB configuration, is priced at $370. Infinix has not yet announced specific dates or regions for its release.
