National T20 Cup: Knockout Stage Line-Up Revealed

The National T20 Cup 2025 has finally reached its business end after a thrilling opening round featuring eighteen teams. Following an intense battle, eight teams have secured their spots in the next phase: Lahore Whites, Lahore Blues, Sialkot, Peshawar, Karachi Whites, Faisalabad, Abbottabad, and Multan are the only sides left standing.

The newly revealed quarterfinal matchups promise plenty of drama and high-intensity action, beginning with Lahore Whites taking on a determined Abbottabad in QF1 on March 23. Lahore Whites, who have dropped just one game in four matches, will be keen to assert their dominance again, while Abbottabad’s hopes for an upset rest on Kamran Ghulam and Yasir Shah.

In QF2 on the same date, Karachi Whites—long considered a powerhouse of domestic cricket—square off against a resurgent Multan. Karachi Whites have been the talk of the tournament, cruising through the opening phase with four straight wins. Boasting a lineup that features Saud Shakeel, Khawaja Nafay, and Pakistan’s Test captain Shan Masood, they will be the clear favorites against Multan.

Faisalabad meets Peshawar in QF3, a clash likely to hinge on disciplined bowling and strategic play. The quarterfinals conclude with QF4, where Sialkot, another undefeated team, faces Lahore Blues in a contest that will test both squads’ resilience. Both of these games will be played on March 24.

Winners of QF1 and QF3 will meet in Semi-final 1, while the victors from QF2 and QF4 collide in Semi-final 2.  These two games will be played on March 26 with the grand finale scheduled for 27 March. All the knockout fixtures of the National T20 Cup including the final will take place in Faisalabad as it looks to make a case for hosting its first international fixture since 2008.

As the National T20 Cup unfolds, fans can expect everything from blistering batting displays to clutch bowling performances. The countdown to crowning a new champion has begun, and only time will tell which team will emerge victorious on the grandest stage of this year’s tournament.
