The Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced a five-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, with court operations suspended from March 29 to April 2, 2025. The decision was formalized through a notification issued by the Registrar’s Office on the directives of Chief Justice of Pakistan.
This announcement aligns with the federal government’s decision to observe the Eid holidays from March 31 to April 2. During this period, government offices will remain closed to facilitate nationwide celebrations.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is expected to fall on March 31, depending on the sighting of the Shawwal moon on March 30. The occasion is widely celebrated across the country, with people gathering for prayers, family reunions, and festive activities.
The extended holidays will allow citizens, including government officials and court employees, to participate fully in Eid festivities.
