Famous Transgender Dancer Booked for Obscene Dance in Wedding

A case has been registered against 35 individuals, including renowned dancer Mehak Malik, following allegations of performing obscene dances at a mehndi ceremony in Yazman Mandi.

According to the Bahawalpur police, the event was marked by the showering of currency notes during the performances, which raised concerns about public decency. Additionally, the use of loudspeakers and sound amplifiers during the ceremony was found to be in violation of local laws.

The police have officially named Mehak Malik and a local citizen, Zeeshan, also known as Shani, in the case. Alongside them, ten other individuals have been nominated, with several more unidentified suspects included in the investigation.

Sources indicate that among those nominated in the case are government employees, including a police constable, raising questions about the involvement of public officials in the incident.
