Belarus has extended an invitation to Pakistan to collaborate on the joint assembly of electric buses, as announced by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
This invitation came after discussions between Lukashenko and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Minsk last week, according to reports from BelTA.
Lukashenko highlighted that Belarus’ tractor industry, a major pillar of the nation’s economy, remains a key export to Pakistan. He expressed confidence that the shipment of Belarusian tractors to Pakistan would increase this year.
In addition to tractors, the two leaders discussed the possibility of exporting Belarusian-made utility vehicles, trucks, and quarry equipment to Pakistan.
Furthermore, Lukashenko emphasized the proposal for a joint venture in the assembly of electric buses, reflecting Belarus’s interest in expanding its collaboration with Pakistan in the green energy sector.
